Over 25 years experience in advertising, media & marketing. Working in print, radio, TV, OHH and online. Fergal has helped thousands of advertisers across multiple media channels get a better outcome from their advertising investment.
In 2015 he founded buymedia with the aim of helping SME advertisers get a better return on their advertising. Saving them both time and money.
For the last 2 years he has worked with his Local Enterprise Office, New Frontiers, NDRC and Enterprise Ireland to create technology that can be used for free by SMEs to plan, purchase, manage and measure their advertising campaigns.
I’m driven by working on amazing products with amazing people, building outstanding teams, and helping others to realise their full potential. My experience includes over 17 years in one of the world's most-well known and fastest growing companies, culminating as the site leader for one of its largest development centres in the world with headcount growing from 300 to 1,200 during my leadership. I also helped operate the world's largest eCommerce search engine for more than 12 years, scaling systems and teams as the business grew from $6B to over $120B in annual revenue. I'd now like to bring that experience and expertise to clients and companies looking to grow, optimise, and scale their own businesses and people.

He is always seeking new challenges where he can continue to apply his wealth of management and technical experience in new and innovative ways.
During the 90s William was a pioneer in the emerging Multimedia Industry and worked on many innovative projects such as video conferencing enabled touch screen kiosks and CD Bu siness cards. Throughout the 00’s he applied his eye for innovation and solution delivery to a variety of sectors ranging from Management consultancy, technical manufacturing, insurance and financial services. In the recent past he was responsible for building a distributed team and leading them in delivery of a variety of innovations to the Credit Union software space (Mobile, Cloud, Dashboards).
